The company was founded in 1978...
in Nicosia, Cyprus, by Mr. Euripides Angastiniotis whose vision was to manufacture and trade high quality vitamin premixes and supply the local market. Using his experience from spending years at animal feed related businesses in Cyprus and abroad, he built the VTN factory and began producing the first vitamin premix batches using simple mixing methods with only a handful of staff.
The early years
As the company gained momentum, it reached a significant milestone in 1978 with its first export to Qatar, marking the beginning of its international journey. Soon after, VTN expanded its business operations into Egypt, laying the groundwork for what would later become a key regional presence. These ventures highlighted VTN's commitment to extending its high-quality products beyond the Cypriot market.
In recognition of its achievements, VTN received its first Cyprus Export Award from the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) in 1999, solidifying its reputation as a prominent exporter. The company's pursuit of excellence was further demonstrated by obtaining its first ISO certification in 2001, ensuring adherence to stringent international quality standards. Over the years, VTN also formed strategic alliances, including an exclusive partnership with Pfizer/Zoetis, which enhanced its product offerings and market influence.
Further milestones included a corporate rebranding that modernized the company image in 2010 and the inauguration of new office facilities, signifying a new era of growth.
In 2019, VTN formed an exclusive partnership with Royal Canin, showcasing its ability to collaborate with global leaders in animal nutrition.
These achievements culminated in the establishment of VTN MISR, a subsidiary that reinforced the company’s dedication to serving the Egyptian market and beyond.
