VitaTrace Nutrition Ltd, in collaboration with Zoetis Hellas, continuously takes initiatives to inform and educate its partners, responding to the needs of modern livestock farming and having a comprehensive understanding of the challenges it faces. One of these challenges is Bovine Respiratory Syndrome and the economic losses it causes.
Our company organized a related seminar on February 5, 2025, in Larnaca, specifically for farm animal veterinarians, which was a great success. Professors Evangelos Kiosis and Georgios Valergakis from the Veterinary Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki visited our island to present the latest developments in cattle reproduction management and the economic impact of Bovine Respiratory Syndrome.
Additionally, Stella Kalonaki, Marketing Manager of the Farm Animal Division at Zoetis Hellas, presented the innovative Protivity vaccine for the management and prevention of Mycoplasma Bovis in calves. Her presentation analyzed the cost of the disease on farms, its impact, and the vaccine's effectiveness in improving calf health while positively influencing farmers' income.
The invited experts provided solutions through targeted treatments and disease prevention methods. Professors from the veterinary schools of the European University and the University of Nicosia also honored us with their presence.
Our company’s scientific team is always available to producers to discuss measures and solutions for managing Mycoplasma Bovis.
